What is a Key Fact Statement (KFS)?
One sheet with the true cost of your loan - before you sign.
The Key Fact Statement is a short document, required by the Reserve Bank of India, that we give you before you sign the loan.
- Loan amount, EMI, number of EMIs and the first and last EMI dates.
- The interest, the processing fee, and the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) - the full yearly cost including fees.
- Contingent charges: bounce, late payment, foreclosure, duplicate NOC and others.
- The repayment schedule, and the Grievance Redressal Officer's contact.
No charge that is not in your KFS can be taken from you. Read it, ask questions, and sign only when you agree.
