Getting your NOC and clearing the RC
After the last EMI, take the vehicle's hypothecation off the RC.
While the loan is running, your RC shows SM Square as the financier (hypothecation). When the loan is closed, we issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Log in with your mobile and OTP and download the NOC.
- Take the NOC to your RTO (or apply on the Parivahan / Vahan portal) with Form 35 to remove the hypothecation from your RC.
- Keep a copy of the NOC with your vehicle papers.
- Lost it? A duplicate NOC costs Rs 1,500.
